How important is having a face to face consultation?

How important is having a face to face consultation? This may not be possible as i wish to go abroad for a procedure. Are pics and skype enough?

Should be fine with clear pics and skype pal. Face to face would be better but research and results of the doc are more important.

Face to face consultation is very good  for any treatment that you are really want to go on..
