This fellow is 5 months out from MFUE to repair an FUE density issue. He stopped in for a scar check and I grabbed a quick video. He looks good with a #4 cut.

Now its just a waiting game until the front fills in, and we'll check him back at a year.

Shown are his video today, including his procedure and 10 day check up.

Next compare this fellow's video with an uneventful MFUE course to the following video that I put up last week. VERY similar cases, age, size of case, etc...but guy number 2 shown below had real scar issues we had to jump on. Fortunately both will likely get great scars and nice hair.

His video is:

Thank you for sharing 2 great cases Dr Lindsey.

Thank you for the gruesome videos, won't watch these again when i eat haha. The scars look great. Why MFUE Doctor?

Keeping the scar clean is a major part of the scar not stretching? Work and the results look right on track. I look forward to seeing these results at the 12 month mark.

Great watch, why MFUE and not normal strip? The guys look on track for a great result, front and back :)

That is a long answer....here's a short video that goes over much of it.

Essentially I believe strip is always best.   ALWAYS.   IF however you need a true #1 cut, strip is out.  FUE is an option but never grows as well due to root trauma.

A few years back Alan Feller, my associate, came up with this idea.  I think I did the first case ever, on Thanksgiving day, and now we've done maybe 120 or so.  Its a good option for people who need a short haircut and are deathly afraid of strip.   My biggest case is about 2200 grafts I think, and I've posted a bunch of these around the internet and on my youtube channel.

Thank you for the explanation, i would love to see quite a few MFUE scars as i have not really seen much of this procedure and outcome of scars to have much of an opinion.

I am pretty sure ONLY Feller/Bloxham and I are doing it.   We turned in an article to the HT journal and got turned down...I personally think the robot guys see this as a threat, but I have no proof of that.

It certainly works consistently, requires no high dollar investment to get going, and anyone who is good at strip surgery can do this and be GOOD at it in a few cases....  On the other hand...if its like automated FUE that is marketed to every doctor in the US as a profit center....a bunch of hacks will figure out a way to screw this up too...

No matter what you choose...strip, fue or mfue....results will always be better if you go to someone who has a track record...not just a new machine and a slick ad.

Track record of consistency is key. Slick ads and big budgets on advertisement, patients need to be made aware and the forums are great for this. Is mfue just not a smaller case of FUE Doctor?
