I always try to get things done with quality and this doctor was recommended on the HTN website. Unfortunately I went to this doctor a number of years ago and he left me scarred in both my donor area and the recipient area. At a time when a number of other bad reviews appeared about him.
A couple of red flags that should have alerted me :
- On their website they wrote they only do 1/2 surgeries a day, but when I asked their patient co-ordinator he told me they do 4/5
- When designing my hairline, they gave me this small handheld mirror which was just a joke to be honest. I
only got 800 grafts which was also lucky it was not a big procedure. But unfortunately, Hakan Doganay has really made a mess of my donor hair.
I would still recommend using the hair transplant network when reviewing surgeons and this doctor was thrown off very quickly. Stay safe out there people and remember to do research before having such a procedure. Fortunately I was able to have an SMP procedure and it has masked the scarring very well.
