Many surgeons now promote FUE much more, is FUT becoming obsolete?

I think there is merit for both procedures, and even offering hybrid procedures. Strip tends to yield the best grafts but ive taken strip that has given me 2500 grafts but 1000 were singles. In this situation FUE may have been better because i could have cherry picked the follicles i really wanted. Donor conservation is very important and not talked about, but you have around 5000 grafts total you can take safely from the permanent donor zone. Once gone it never comes back.
Hair styles are a big contributing factor. People started to get undercut style hair cuts and a high fade ultimately this means a long linear scar being visible. This can be masked with good smp.
Ultimately there is merit for both procedures. Counsilling patients is the most important thing.
