So this young guy had several medical procedures as an infant that left him with a few hairless scars on his head. He's likely to turn out like his dad...class 5...on whom we've done and posted his hair transplant....SO we need to plan for this kid's future. Meaning, we'll do a few hundred FUE's into these scars, and reassess at about 15 months.
We did him at Christmas break and he just got home from college at 5.7 months postop. He's growing well, despite FUE and despite placing the hair in scar. We've got about 17 of these cases, that my son presented at a few national and international meetings.
Hopefully we can get him back NEXT summer when he's fully grown in. Already he's noted that he's no longer self conscious when his hair is wet or the wind is blowing.
