SMP and Donor depletion?

Does SMP cover donor depletion? The reason i ask, is for those of us who have very limited donor for a hair transplant, would this not in effect offer us more donor grafts if we could cover up with SMP?

I have seen many clinics use SMP to cover FUT scars and the moth look from donor depeletion from FUE. Many looked great :)

It would depend upon nature of hair that the patient have..
