Its easy to post repair cases when someone else did the initial case...but how many hair doctors post repair cases when it is a repair of their own work? This may be a world premier.

In any case....I BELIEVE that my initial case had such poor results do to inadequate cleaning in the first week. I've posted several videos on this topic and have shown a couple of cases where you can see precisely where crusting, from inadequate cleaning, auto-extracted grafts leaving hairless areas. Despite lots of instructions/videos/offers of multiple in office cleanings..we still have patients not clean.
AND I'm working on a video where a guy pulled out several hundred grafts the night of surgery!!!
Take a look at this guy, we did him several years ago, he didn't clean at all...lived several hours away and came in at a week looking crusty. He got poor growth along the hairline. 6 years later, we repeated the surgery but required him to come for daily cleaning.
And he walked in last week looking excellent.
I'm convinced that success in hair is related to: the doctor, the staff(excellent cutters and quick placers), patient physiology, genetics (for scarring), and cleaning. I know I beat cleaning instructions into people like I'm beating a dead horse..but I want success as much as, or almost as much as, the patient.

Dr.Lindsey thank you for sharing an honest and great 2nd outcome. I believe this may be a first and shows the importance of keeping them grafts clean.
Dr.Lindsey i like your honesty... this post is tells me more than any standard result you will see on the forums. The difference in cleaning and both results educate the members and why Doctors like yourself are important to the forums.
Fair play Dr.Lindsey for sharing this, and point taken about cleaning ;) Nice work as always.
