Every patient is given a local anesthesia in both the recipient and donor areas, usually after the anesthesia is given you feel no pain or discomfort during the surgery. After the procedure some discomfort and numbness may be around. Painkillers may be given to help with this.

The first part is the worse i'm guessing, once you start to numb you will be fine.

No more than injections at a dentist, well i would hope not.

Hi,

Yes, thats true, it is way better than having injections for dental treatment. Most people are actually surprised there is just about no pain during an FUE hair transplant procedure done under a local anesthetic. Mild discomfort might occur as a local anesthetic is injected into the scalp. Once the skin is properly anaesthetised, though, there's no pain. after the FUE surgery, patients can generally feel some minor discomfort, which usually described as minimal. In the STRIP technique, there's comparatively more pain, with the amount of pain depending on every patients individual pain threshold. Medications are often prescribed to assist with any discomfort or pain.

If anyone who want to get rid of hair loss and want to recover their hair loss then they don't need to be scared..
