When can i start smoking after a Hair Transplant?

I'm quite a heavy smoker and won't be able to quit all together, how long after a procedure can i start agian?!?!

Charlie, I would wait a minimum of 10 days, however the longer the better.

The nicotine in the smoke constricts blood vessels and decreases the oxygen to the tissues and the carbon dioxide in smoke displaces the oxygen. Both of these chemicals retard healing. 

Really, that long :( I guess if i plan to spend all this money on a procedure i guess waiting a few weeks after shouldnt do me any harm.

Well the best would be that it's better not to smoke after the hair transplant surgery for few weeks...
