Hi guys,
Whilst out in the summer climate i decided to 'take it all down' to grade 3 - I feel that after 16 + years on finasteride (1mg daily) it now might be time to up introduce Dutasteride a few times a week along side my finasterdie dose - as feel i might be losing ground after all this time and i don't want to lose ground in the crown region!
Anyone done this with any benefits?
Pre any meds or surgery March 2000 ( all surgery in frontal 1/3 )
Grade 3 - August 2016.

Your hair looks great at a grade 3 mate, to have a buzz cut with the amount of procedures you have been through is fantastic. In regards to introducing DUT, this is something i have always considered as i myself have been on propecia for over 10 years and hope to maintain however it's difficult to tell if your're losing ground on your ground with grade 3. Either way, it looks great.
To pull off this look with short hair, it looks great and no signs of loss that i can tell. Why DUT? Is it stronger than fin?
You have a great head of hair sir and no signs of surgery. May i ask, has Fin stopped working for you?
You have fantastic hair my friend. Have you ever had work done in the crown or just medication?
Hi all,
Thansk for all the comments. I love the shaved looked and it suits head shape so really happy. ive been on finasteride 16+ years and i believe it is still working but just wanted to get proactive and increase regime to DUT as it is stroger DHT inbibitor.
Dutasteride is both a type 1 and 2 alpha reductase inhibitor whilst finasteride is primarily just a weaker type 1.
Be careful using both Spex, DUT is strong and both together could cause some side effects. I agree with being proactive but tread carefully...why try to fix something that doesn't need fixing. You have a great head of hair, you not use minox for crown?
